Espergaerde Vacation Guide
Espergaerde (in Danish Espergærde) is a city of about 11500 inhabitants in a beautiful area in North Sealand, situated about 8 kilometres from Helsingor and about 35 kilometres from Copenhagen. The city has a good railway connection (The Coast Railway-in Danish "kystbanen") every 20 minutes to Copenhagen which takes 40 minutes. It continues directly to the airport (terminals)Kastrup in Copenhagen and to many cities in Sweden. In the weekend after midnight there is connection from/to Copenhagen every hour.
The center of Espergaerde is the oldest in Denmark Here you'll find 43 shops. A 2 minutes drive from the center is a beautiful forest stretching all the way to Helsingor and a seashore with the old harbour, which is a yacht harbour. You'll also find some good restaurants and cafés. You can ride the bike on a bicycle track along the coast from Espergaerde to Copenhagen.

This is not exactly a trip, but a very important moment of my life. Having brought up my 2 wonderful girls since I came back from Israel in 1992, after having experienced the Gulf War, I feel proud as a mum, when she graduated with 4 top marks in her final oral examinations:):)She is now studying law at the University of Copenhagen. I want to share with you these happy and exciting moments:):)
