Esperança Reviews

May 27, 2007
Located in the Bairro Alto on the Rua do Norte, Esperança is a cozy, inviting yet obscure pizzeria with exceptional service and cuisine. The Quattro Formaggio and Diavola pizzas were delicious, and the atmosphere was quite comfortable; it was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing and for people watching. Beware of the front door - it's a little difficult to open, which confused many would-be patrons who gave up and walked away! The extra shove through the imposing door is definitely worth it. For around €30 two people can enjoy an individual pizza and a few drinks.
