Our first day was to be non-stop.  So much beauty.  Friendly people and incredibly old everything.  The town of Ennis was exactly what I had pictured in my mind ~ narrow streets with colorful shopfronts and people standing on the street corners in conversation.  It was lunc…

I was getting so much done today, having rented a car.  On the way from Bunratty to the Cliffs of Moher I stopped in Ennis for a bit.  I had lunch at a place called Ruby Tuesday's.  Pretty unremarkable, other then the fact it was open when the rest of the town seemed closed...it is S…

Clare has beautiful countryside, small town life, and interesting historical sites. One of the best things I did there was to take one of the tour buses to the Cliffs of Moher and other sites along the way. Tours leave from Ennis and Galway for a good price. Ask at the tourist office in either town about the tours and where they go. I give both tourist offices A+ ratings for friendliness and helpfulness.

Second overnight stop, where we enjoyed more Guinness and Bulmers!  Also where I learned that the Irish don't dance and if you do, they look at you like you're apart of a circus show.

I went around the entire island in a two week period.. Ireland is a very beautiful country with a great heritage and diverse landscapes. I have a TON of pictures so I've been kinda lazy and only added the first couple days of the trip so far, but there will be many more to come.
