Being on the water bus let me enjoy the beautiful waterfront architechture, which is something one obviously does not get to enjoy when walking within the city. All waterfront houses and palazzos displayed their social status, wealth, and affluence by the murals and ornamentation they presented.

It's a city that conjures up romance, beauty and mystery. One day in this floating city was enough to make an impression for a life time. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but it didn't stop me from enjoying this beautiful city. The photos don't do her justice… Venezia, Italy |

This was a modern art museum, so I definitely enjoyed
it. The museum itself is Guggenheim's former villa, so it was beautiful in
itself. But I really enjoyed analyzing and viewing surrealist and abstract
expressionist works, some that we rarely get to see.
After the
visit, I spent the rest of the afternoon… Venice! |
