Engelberg is a small village in the canton Obwalden. It's the leading mountain resort in central Switzerland. The highest point is the mountain Titlis (3238m).
In the Middle Ages, Engelberg was known for his monastery that had a good school. In 2005, Engelberg was cut off from the outside world for weeks because of the flood.

Today we to Mount Titlis the highest glacier excursion in central Switzerland. We rode the lift up to 10,000 feet and were able to play in the snow. They had all sorts of sleds and snowtubes. It was absolutely amazing. I loved playing in the snow. I became a little kid again and was throwing snowballs and running around with everyone. Sunday greeted us with excellent weather. After my hiking buddy took his jerk pills, we checked out and did some hiking. Every view was like a postcard. The pictures don't do it justice.
