I spend alot of time in Chicago...staying downtown, as I enjoy walking around to experience the city.
Emilio's Tapas is one of those places one can have a glass of wine or a selection of Tapas and watch the world go by. The selection of wine is what one would expect from Spain...I swear, Emilio sneaks a couple cases in his bags on his return trips back home. The staff will spend time with you to match up your Tapas selection with wine - or the other way around. My best moments are to sit at the bar and converse with the staff...working to find the ultimate match between wine and food. One of my favorites is the Zebastiani Merlot paired with Manchego Cheese and Serrano Ham...or was it the Six Grapes Port and the broiled pear dessert? I think I'll go back and try it again...just to make sure. :) Highly rated. Ed |

And so I begin the long trek home. We rode back with United Airlines, which now ranks far lower in my opinion - Air France blew it away in service, food quality, and entertainment. We switched planes in Chicago.… All good things must come to an end |

I have had family from my mom's side that reside in Illinois for quite awhile. Chicago area and maybe slightly outside of Chicago. Suberbs I guess and people would say. So when my mom asked me if I would like to accompany her to Ch…… Visit to Chicago just in time for my Uncle's b-day |
