Embassy Suites Albuquerque Reviews
Aug 03, 2007
Stayed at the Embassy Suites Albuquerque for the duration of my stay. The last and only time I can remember staying at an Embassy Suites was on a family trip back when I was still in grade school.
As named the hotel rooms are all suites with a separate living and sleeping area. Rooms featured a mini-fridge and microwave as well. So a good sized room to accomadate up to four people (the sofa in the living room area has a pull out bed). Some of the regular features of Embassy Suites properties include a free breakfast (and we are talking a full breakfast including omelets, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries, etc.). This I remember from the earlier trip. Another feature of this property was a Manager's Happy Hour every evening with free drinks. Not a very wide selection a la a full bar, but I'm not one to complain about free alcohol. Location was very convenient right off I-25, close to the airport, downtown ABQ, and University of New Mexico. Service was solid, concierge available as needed, and personnel I interacted with were friendly and accomodating. All in all a very good hotel. Nothing fancy but a very solid property. I rate this as a good hotel which to me means that this is in the top 30% of hotels in its price category. My rate was $119.00/night which in all honesty at this point is a pretty average cost for a hotel room in the US at this time.
