This area is great for sight seeing and such, however, my favorite place here is the ferry plaza. They have the best gourmet cheese shop and chocolate shop.
There's also a really awesome farmers market on tuesdays and saturdays that sells some of the best organic produce out there. AND...since you're near the ferry building, you have the option of taking a ferry over to marin and get a nice view of the bay by boat. |
