We went to Ely (ee-lee) to see the cathedral this weekend.  You can see the cathedral WAY before you get to Ely, the tower dominates the area. When we got into town we had to park about a half-mile away in the public parking lot.  It's a very nice walk through the town to the cathedral.&…

During my exchange term I visited so many places together with my host mother. From Avebury, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Ely, Hunstanton, London, Birmingham, Old Sarum, Oxford, Rockingham Castle, Fort William and finally Northampton where I lived it seemed as I saw as much as possible in the short time.

Driving tour of English castles and manor homes from Blenheim to Castle Howard. Stops in York and Cambridge with the last few days in London.

I was in the market town of Oakham (in Rutland, England) for a week for a music course and then I was around Scotland for a week and a half! Stirling, Mallaig, Inverie, and Inverness!
