Elviria, Marbella, Spain
Elviria, Marbella, Spain Reviews
Jul 25, 2007
We've got a place in Elviria, near Marbella in Spain. Most of you won't have heard of it, but I can give you advice about surrounding areas, buses, shops etc.
The buses are pretty good (and air conditioned) and are usually on time. The bus stops are on the motorway: left for Fuengirola and Malaga and right for Marbella and Puerto Banus.
You must visit Puerto Banus if you're on holiday here. The best time to go is probably around 8ish when it has cooled down and the town isn't as busy. If you go in the day it'll be too hot! Also, the Spanish tend to eat dinner around 10pm so it's best to eat around that time.
Once you arrive head over to the bars and restaurants on the sea front. Particular places worth visiting are Sinatras (a bar) and Puccino's, a lovely Italian restaurant.
Coming from Elviria, you will have to take 2 buses to Puerto Banus, one of which stops in Marbella.
All the best shops are in Marbella: the ususal like Zara and Mango and I recommend one beautiful little underwear and pjyama shop in Marbella, opposite Zara's. I can't quite remember the name, but it's a beautiful little shop with gorgeous little pieces.
There are also shops in Puerto Banus (obviously) particularly El Corte Ingles if you want a large department store. You may also want to catch the markets here, usually open Thursday to Saturday until about 9pm.
That's all I can think of for now, but if you've any questions about Elviria, Marbella, Fuengirola or Puerto Banus I'm here to help!
