Els Quatre Gats Reviews

For artists and bohemian May 20, 2008
If you travel to Barcelona can't miss "Els Quatre Gats." This bar restaurant is located in the lower of "Casa Martí", the first building that Josep Puig i Cadafalch projected in Barcelona on the year 1895, High Gothic.
Opened in summer 1897 and inspired by cafes of Paris of the time, specifically by "Le Chat Noir", managed to accommodate various artists like Ramon Casas, Antoni Gaudi, Santiago Rusiñol, Pablo Picasso, Isaac Albéniz or Enric Morera. These characters along with others gave him fame of a local bohemian and rallying point for artists.
Is currently a bar restaurant, specializing in international cuisine and often dinner was brightened up with a piano and even live can witness some artist spontaneous.
