Best park for tubing! Apr 18, 2013
The Elora Gorge is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural areas in the Grand River valley. The Grand River rushes through the gorge, which has 22-metre high cliffs. Riverside trails (with safety barriers) and scenic overlooks provide hikers with stunning views of the water far below where kayakers and tubers make their way through the rapids.

I've been to this park a few times last summer and always had a great time! You are able to rent a tube, helmet and lifejacket for an affordable price and enjoy an entire day of tubing on the river! It take about 45 minutes to get down the river (a mix of rapids and slow moving water). A bus will pick you up at the end of the river in order to get to the start of the river to go down again. The river is surrounded by beautiful scenery and makes for a perfect, relaxing day outdoors!

Camping is also available at Elora Gorge. Campsites are very spacious, private and offer just the right amount of shade/sun.

Elora is just over an hour drive from Toronto which is perfect for a summer days fun!
