Eliza Lodge Dublin Reviews
Good location, Not very clean May 11, 2010
This hotel has a great location within Temple Bar. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, but we managed alright. Our room had a view of the River Liffey, which looked especially nice at night. The room itself was quite small and wasn't very clean. Mold could be found in the shower and the floor had more than a bit of dust. The bed was decently sized, the TV was not. Unless you have Super Man vision, don't even bother trying to watch TV. Staff was pleasant and helpful, but the hotel seriously lacks any amenities. There isn't even a lobby, then again space is at a premium in Dublin. Overall, this was a nice place to stay if you are on a bit of a budget.

Eliza Lodge Overview
Situated above the Eliza Blues restaurant at the foot of the Millennium Bridge in the heart of Temple Bar. The hotel overlooks the Liffey.
For those looking for the vibrancy of Temple Bar, the hotel is well-placed and the rooms of a high standard. Not for those looking for a quiet retreat.
A modern and stylish building. The entrance is next door to the restaurant and the door is opened by a buzzer system.
The Eliza Blues restaurant has an excellent reputation and has a contemporary feel and menu.
The rooms are modern, with light wood furnishings and pastel decor. All rooms are air-conditioned with multi-channel TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, safes, hair-dryers and ironing boards.
There is a small reception desk at the top of the stairs and a lounge/waiting area on the first floor with views over the river.
27 kms to the nearest airport (dublin).
