Elephant Parade. First Stop in Asia Dec 12, 2011
162 elephants brightly designed are scattered in various part of Singapore and it is the first stop in Asia. The Elephant parade will be on displayed from 11 Nov to 11 Jan next year. These elephants are scattered mostly in the central business district, Esplanade, Marina Bay area and Orchard road.
The purpose is to raise fund and awareness for the Asian elephants. These elephants are designed by local and international artists and at the end of the parade, it will be auctioned at Christie's and Sotheby's to raise funds for The Asian Elephant Foundation.
This is free open-air exhibition and it will end next year, 11 Jan. So if you are in Singapore during this period, you are in for a visual treat.
