Elephant Bar Restaurant Fresno Reviews
Nice place, and you don't need to eat Elephant trunk! Jul 01, 2011
We were looking for a nice place to have a Father’s Day dinner that was new to us and had good food but didn’t necessarily charge an arm and a leg for it. We decided to try one in Fresno that we had not been to yet. It is fairly new there and seems to be getting some pretty good reviews. They presently have 47 locations, mostly in California, but spreading to many other states.
We only had to wait just a few minutes for a table and they were very nice and smiled more than most hosts. We had asked for a table rather than a booth and they first took us to a booth, but after reminding the young man quickly took us to a table. Our server brought the menus and took our drink order and gave us the time we needed to make our order. Their menu covers 11 pages plus a few other specials so it took us more time than usual.
I decided on the Garlic Noodles and Wok seared Shrimp from the Wok-Fired Specials section of the menu and my wife had the Sauteed Chicken Marsala from the Global section. Neither of us added a salad. We didn’t eat the entire servings but kept enough room to share one order of their Creamy Crème Brulee. The food was very tasty and good and the service was much better than most places we have tried recently. The price was also well within reason. We will go back to this, probably more than once.
