Electric Ladyland - the First Museum of Fluorescent Art Sep 13, 2012
Amsterdam is a great city, but my favorite place there was the Electric Ladyland. It is a Museum and gallery for fluorescent art. You have to pay 5€ admission but to me it was totally worth it. Electric Ladyland has two floors, on ground level there is the "gallery", basically a room arbitrary clustered with everything that looks different under black light.

After paying the admission, the owner Nick will take you to a tour of the basement, which is the museum. He explains a lot about black light and then you can access a kind of small cave that is all colored with fluorescent paint and is full of nice little things to explore.

It is a really small place and don't expect it to be a van Gogh Museum type of place, it is unconventionally and just awesome.

The best part about the place is Nick, he is so passionate about his art, it s contagious.
that s the small cave-like thing
