For the best fish tacos in Loreto, Mexico you need to go to El Rey del Taco. It is where all the locals go to get their fix of fish tacos. There's a couple of other places that serve good fish tacos in Loreto but this is definately the best and most authentic.
Fish tacos are a classic Baja Mexican food. They are deep fried fish in a soft taco shell with lettuce, tomato, cilantro special sauce and a little mayonnaise. The restaurant serves only fish tacos and is a basic cement building with benches and a view of the kitchen but the fish tacos are authentic and very tasty. Be sure to put mayonnaise on your tacos. After my sea kayak trip I spent some time exploring around town in Loreto. Loreto is a great medium sized town along the eastern coast of Baja California of Mexico in the Sea of Cortez. It is not a super popular tourist attraction yet so…El Rey del Taco. Everyone says it is the best place in town for fish tacos and they are right. It is a more rustic place.
