El Palomar Reviews

Sep 06, 2007
This Mexican restaurant on Santa Cruz's busy Pacific Avenue can by easy to miss because it is not right on the street, it's slightly further back. I'm always wary of non-taqueria, non-cheap Mexican food, but I was really satisfied with this restaurant. They serve a lot of typical Mexican fare made with local produce and local seafood.

The salsa served with the complimentary chips and salsa was really good. I had a shrimp burrito which was huge and delicious. The half of it I saved was quite tasty the next day ;)
