El Lazo Reviews

This eatery had a small frontage in the Altstadt, but used it wisely. There was a long bar to sit at and watch your potential meal spin freely on a rotisserie. Of course there were seating options inside but the outdoor covered picnic tables were the options we took.

The waiter came to see us almost immediately, even though they were somewhat busy with a lunch rush. He took beer orders quite fast (Erdinger on tap is one of my favorites) and let us pore over the menu over a few beers before we decided. The waiter's recommendation was the pork loin, which my friend got in a huge 'sampler' platter with two other rather large samples. I opted for the jagerschnitzel mit zweibel und something or another. The entrees cost somewhere around 10 euro each but that was certainly a bargain as you could barely finish your plate and every bite was delicious. I would recommend searching this place out, and if you don't see it right away follow your nose to where the rotisseries of meats throw out their heavenly scents.
Not much sleep the night before ...
