El Güembe Hostel

El Güembe is a little hostel located in a quiet area of the Puerto Iguazú, just situated close to the bus station (10 min) and 15 minutes from the centre of town.
The room was basic, nothing luxurious, but clean and comfortable and with a decent private bathroom.
The best aspect is the AC if you consider the climatic conditions of P.Iguazú.
The breakfast is included in the price. Very simple and basic but no complaints taking in count it is free.
On the negative side, I should mention the facilities for cooking that they offered when I visited this place. The kitchen, situated in the garden, was really dirty and not useful for cooking food.
On the contrary the staff of El Güembe was really friendly and helpful, always ready to offer help or any kind of information if you need it.
All this aspects and the good price make El Güembe in a perfect place to stay in as a starting point to enjoy the wonderful spectacle of Iguazú.
Undoubtedly I would return again if I get the chance.
