Delicious homemade food Jan 18, 2015
S50°20.188' W72°15.906' in the second block North of Libertador, the outside resembles a roadside cafe. The interior is much more appealing with a nice wooden roof, although it does not decrease the canteen-like noise levels much. Not a place for intimate dinning.

El Cucharón is known as a sophisticated eatery and tourists know. It is a very busy eatery, frequently turning people away. You know what to do. The cazuela de cordero con malfattis de espinaca (stewed lamb with spinach malfattis) from there homemade food is well known and our choice in December 2014.

They should have taken out the uneatable laurel leave before serving, but it tasted great. Not too greasy, a little but not much spicy, well balanced in flavours from good lamb meat. The way it should be. The chocolate volcano with orange ice cream finished it delicious. It is a big calorie hitter.

El Chucarón known its home kitchen very well and staff pay good attention to their guests. Recommended.
