Tel-Aviv, Israel -› Jaffa, Israel -› ...
I really wish we had more time to spend in Eilat, as I have heard that it's a beautiful city, but unfortunately we only headed there to cross the border to enter Jordan. We took a bus at midnight (of all times!) and did our best to enjoy the Israeli desert scenery in the middle of the night and sleep at the same time. We arrived in Eilat at around 4:30 AM and then looked for the bus that would take us to the Eilat/Aqaba border. It wasn't long before the locals informed us th...

Eventually it was time ...

Israel -› Meron, Israel -› ...
Eilat, located at the southern tip of Israel, reminds me alot of Jersey shore towns and Atlantic city (without the gambling). its a beach touristy town with expensive 5 star hotels (we rented a somewhat cheap room from a local), a boardwalk filled with venders selling cheap products, and teenagers crowding around the mall checking each other out. It wasn't my favorite city during my Israeli trip, but I did love the surrounding landscape of the desert mountains, red sea and palm trees. During ...
