Egham is a very small town in Surrey, located to the west of London near the M25. It doesn't have much to offer in terms of sights or attractions but is famous because the Magna Carta was signed here in 1215 and there is a little fountain in the High Street as a monument. Egham is also the location of Royal Holloway college, which is part of the University of London. Its main building (Founders) is definitely worth a look. The locals, however, seem to have ambivalent feelings about the students, which may mean that they leave rude notes on your car if you park in one of the streets near the university.
