Efteling park; World of wonders!
It’s a beautiful park wich is build around different fairytales and legends. Most of the fairytales are written by Hans Christiaan Andersen.

Efteling History;
In 1933 two priests, Father De Klijn and Father Rietra, have the idea of setting up a sports park at the south of Kaatsheuvel.On 11 May 1951, the official opening takes place of the Tea House and of the renovated playground with about 16 different items of play equipment.In 1952 the Fairy Tale Forest is opened on 31 May. Efteling now consists of some 65 hectares of nature, including water gardens, a playground, tennis courts and football pitches and ten fairy tales. These earliest fairy tales are: Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Frog Prince, the Magic Clock, the Chinese Nightingale, the Talking Parrot, Longneck, the Gnome Houses, Mistress Holle’s well and Little Message. Anton Pieck drew the designs and Peter Reijnders was the technician who brought them to life.
From the 80th the park aims at becoming more than just a Fairy Tale Forest.Significant for the park are the designs by Anton Pieck wich can be seen in the beautifull style of building and fairy tales inside the park.


Nowerdays you'll find lot of different kind of attractions for everyone; young, old, alone or with whole family;

-Train; gives you a roundtrip through the whole themepark
-Fairy Tale forest
-Pirana; wild waterride
-Pandavision:In PandaVision, the panda is your guide on an exciting round-the-globe journey through Mother Earth’s overwhelming natural world.
-Game Gallery;Games can be played.
-The Efteling Theatre, the most wonderful things happen every day!

It is a pleasure for every one.

There are loads of places in the park where you can relax with a nice drink and some junkfood, but bring your wallet. It is quit expensive.

Of course you can find a lot of souvenir shops with a range of Efteling items. Ideal for gifts or to keep it yourself as a reminder of a wonderful day out.

Tip: When you are in the Netherlands in the summer (july - august) you must come then to this park. The Efteling Park is then opened from 10.00 am till 12.00 p.m. with live music. The live music is given by diversity of Dutch Famous artists! This is really great and beautiful experience! Lot of attracion are luminaded.

The park also has it’s own Efteling Hotel wich is very luxurious but the hotel is also very expensive. There’s also the Efteling Golf Park. Finding more about these places in my other reviews!
