Posada el Carrousel is the best place to camp or sleep in a hammock in Piste to visit all of the sights in the northern Yucatan. Camping or hammock rental is $4.00 per person per night. A hammock can be provide and has been included in the price in the past. The biggest plus about the Posada el Carrousel other than being very affordable is the in house restaurant. They offer great meals beginning around $2.00. Their hours are also great 7AM to 11PM.

Piste, Mexico -› Coba, Mexico -› …
This was the first place I stayed at when visiting Chichen Itza. Posada Olalde offers by far the best overall value on a room. The Posada Olalde offers several individual rooms in the original main structure and a number of free standing bungalows surrounding a private courtyard. On my last visit I rented a two bedroom bungalow for 5 days at $18.00 per night. The individual rooms were $22.00 for a single and $27.00 for a double. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Piramide Inn offers rooms with fans and private baths for $44.00 per night and camping spaces with hammocks for $4.00 per person per night. The biggest pluses to the Piramide Inn is the large shady garden, small swimming pool and location next to the bus station. The biggest down side to the Piramide Inn is it's location next to the bus station. I camped both times. The staff was very helpful and friendly in allowing me to camp there when they were to capacity.
