My trip to Wildlife Refuge, NJ Aug 10, 2014
Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Oceanville, New Jersey is a great place to visit if you are interested in wild life observation and photography. The refuge protects more than 47,000 acres of southern New Jersey costal habitats which is specially managed for migratory birds. The location is close to Atlantic City, In fact I could see high rise casinos from the most popular wildlife drive. The 8 mile long unpaved wildlife drive is most popular to view wildlife which lead us through wetlands. It could be a great day trip from New York City in conjunction with Atlantic City.

I have visited this place recently in between spring and fall so had an opportunity to see many migratory birds but not as many concentration as Spring and Fall which is the best time for many ducks, geese, wading birds, shorebirds. I was lucky to have great photo opportunities during my visit.

I definitely recommend this place if you are in Atlantic City, Cap May or even in New York City.
