Edo-Tokyo Museum Ryogoku Ward Reviews
Cheap museum about the history of Japan's capital May 19, 2007
The Edo-Tokyo Museum house 5 floors of the history of Tokyo. Once the city was called Edo and not the capital of Japan.
On the various floors (there are 5 out of 6 floors) you can find displays of both the Edo period and the Tokyo period. There are scale models of the city in the old time and the current time. There are also life size displays, paintings and other items.
The entrance fee for 1 single adult is 600 yen (around 5,5 euros or around 7,5 US dollars).
It's a nice museum and if you're interested in ancient history of Edo and Tokyo, then it's nice to spend some time inside.
Part of the list What to see and do in Japan
