Edmonds Vacation Guide

Edmonds, Washington, USA is one of Washington state's most picturesque waterfront communities, on the Puget Sound, It has a community population of about 40,000 people and is within Snohomish County. Seattle is about 15 miles to the south and Vancouver, B.C. is 150 miles to the north. Across the Puget Sound is the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.If you have an opportunity you can ride the ferry across to the Peninsula.

Edmonds originated as a logging camp in the 19th century and is home to a marina and fishing pier. The ambience is one of a small town with numerous beaches, parks, shops and restaurants within walking distance to the downtown area.

Edmonds is known regionally as an active arts community whose year-round festivals and events showcase the community’s sense of pride and involvement.
