Alrighty. The train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh wasn't that exciting. Thank God! I mean, the man behind us was watching Bollywood music videos, loudly, for the entire trip. But since I had my portable DVD player with me, Laura and I watched Pirates of the Carribean, while looking at the beautiful countryside. It's the moors that make me want to move back home (I was born in England). And the sheep. Ohhhh the sheep. We ended Waverly Station and according to the Website, our hostel was only a 10…

Geno's Magical Mystery tour of Northern UK. I started in Aberdeen & hooned through Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, Scarborough, Hull, York, Yorkshire Dales, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Lakes District and of course, made a quick visit to Wales to the town with the 2nd longest name in the World: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
What a beautiful trip it was: terrific scenery, an abundance of history and some very funny accents.

Definitely backpacking around the UK is one of most exciting trip you can do in your life. Further, Glasgow is probably the best city to do it, even if you're alone, like myself.
There are so many nightclubs in the city, moreover you can find a lot of young people partying and making gatherings and things like this.
I stayed at a hostel close to the University, and from there you can reach the city center and many interesting museums.

We get on the train from King's Cross, which by the way I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. So just being in the train station was exciting for me, and of course I went to platform 9 and 10. I wish I had gottn a photo of me leaning against the column, on one side it says 9 and the other says 10. Anywho we get on and find some seats that aren't reserved and we end up sitting next to these teenaged girls who are actually quite annoying but I could overlook it because they had cute Br…

We went up to Scotland for the Fringe
Fest which happens every year, days of performers and shows on
everywhere in Edinburgh. We went specifically for a show with Nine
Inch Nails and Foofighters which was AWESOME! I love Trent Reznor!
Jim and I saw NIN in London at the Brigston Academy when they were
here a few months ago and it was great so we thought we'd go see them
again, besides Jim wanted to see Foofighters. I'd actually forgotten
how many good songs Foofighters had so... to …

I was attending an internal conference for the company I worked for, which made me visiting Scotland for the second time. This is the most green country I've ever seen. Soooo green and so cold of course. We were staying in a Sheraton Edinburgh, a very expensive hotel which we enjoy very much. The room cost 250 Pound sterling a night. The city itself full of attraction and history. Thus me and my husband spent the first 2 days to go around the city only. We first visited the castle which is ve…

This was my next big trip after my travel obsession started. It was not my first time in Europe, however, it was my first trip I had completely planned myself. The blog contains pictures from different cities in France, Scotland, and England taken during the Holidays. Again, this trip was too long ago for me to make any comments.

After studying abroad for 5 months and then travelling around by myself for 9 days I met up with my mom in England for some travelling. At that point I had not made it up to Scotland and I knew that I had to go. Well it was perfect timing! After being away from the States for that long I began to feel a little homesick and I knew that it was time for me to go home. Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy the time with my mother as much as I would have if I was fresh off th…
