In the morning me and Jenny were woken up by bunch of our friends. We went to buy some breakfast from Argos and ate it on our 'Q Style' bed. After some breakfast and chatting we headed back to Jenns guest house to change and shower. After a bit we came back and I saw that my WATP boys had come. I rounded the venue to the back entrance. Saw them and confirmed my Guest List so I could get in. Since me coming to Edi was a spur of a moment thing and I didnt have a ticket. They said YES YES FOR TH…

Well, it's very early right now packed my bag very last minute. (that's me)
I leave in 30 min. First I will go to my dad to give him my car for the week. And leave the keys of my house so my brother can feed my pets. And then we're off! I'm so excited!
Keep you posted!

Edinburgh Day 3: 10/26/07
My last day in Edinburgh was quite the busy day. I decided to wake up early and head up to Arthur’s Seat. It is high above Edinburgh
atop a mountain; well not high compared to the mountains I live by but
high enough to get a great view of the city and surrounding area. After
hitting my snooze button a few times I finally dragged myself out of
bed and emerged into a grey cloudy day. Perfect weather for hiking in!
The hike was a nice one; I was flying…

I am now in scotland! In Edinburgh I have visited the castle which was fascinating with the cannons, scottish jewels (crown), the prisons and the tiniest little church or kirk i have ever seen built in 1100. I also went on the royal britiannia which is the boat the royals went on holidays on. I looked at the queens and dukes bedroom (seperate cabins of course!) the dining room and the lounge room which wasn't called that but i can't remember the name.
Last night i went on …

The further north I get, the more I seem to love the place! First it was the lakes and then scotland.

Ok, I've been getting way too much feedback that I'm too positive and cheesy in my blogs. Deal with it!! I'm still absolutely loving it.
Dim and I arrived on Monday into Glasgow and caught a taxi to the place that Steff had booked for us in Glasgow - really nice! We met up with him in a really cool bar in Glasgow - as I walked in, knew I'd like it. It was an old art deco style place with venetian blinds, red lighting (I'm making it sound kinda seedy b…

So the whole group went today to the British Open so I got a whole day to myself to explore the rest of Edinburgh! That may sound lonely, but I really enjoyed it and had a great time!I woke up fairly late around 9, or at least late compared to the 4:30 wake up for them going to the British Open. The museums in Edinburgh are free, just like in London, so I set off for the National Gallery. It was small and managable, which was nice, but the art was Renaissance and to be honest, nothing spectac…

We woke up at 7am, and packed our things up, ready to get back on the bus at 10am. Before we left though, we ate breakfast at the hostel. Our bus left on time, yet we were late getting into London. We were supposed to arrive at 7pm, however, because we stopped at many little towns along the way, and got stuck in traffic both going into London, and right in London, we ended up arriving at 8pm. The bus ride was alright, though, and the scenery was lovely. When we got home, we had a snack, watch…

On December 3rd, Lorina and I finally went on our first major trip to Edinburgh. It rained, as always (did we really expect anything else???). This trip like all our trips didn’t start as it was supposed to. At 7am, we wanted to be at the bus station and we even arrived there before because the busses are usually not on time here. That was the theory. We should have watched the local news because then we would have noticed that the bus drivers were on strike that day. Unfort…

My trip to Scotland
was very pleasant.
I enjoyed myself There very much.
I Especially enjoyed popping in and out of little shops and going for tea
on rainy days. The hills were fresh and beautiful and I never got tired of going for long drives.Even though I have already been there 4 times,
I still miss It and wish to go there again soon.

Well up bright and early this morning to get to the airport for our 7.30 flight from Edinburgh Airport to Manchester Airport. We thought to be on the safe side we should make our way there for 7 so Karen and her mum came and picked me and Gillian up from my flat in town for the 15 min journey to the airport. OMG we are all so excited but I am so dreading the 9 hour flight from Manchester to Cuba.
We get to the airport check in and go through to the waiting area. This is only the 2nd tim…
