Alrighty. The train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh wasn't that exciting. Thank God! I mean, the man behind us was watching Bollywood music videos, loudly, for the entire trip. But since I had my portable DVD player with me, Laura and I watched Pirates of the Carribean, while looking at the beautiful co…

Definitely backpacking around the UK is one of most exciting trip you can do in your life. Further, Glasgow is probably the best city to do it, even if you're alone, like myself.
There are so many nightclubs in the city, moreover you can find a lot of young people partying and making gatherings and things like this.
I stayed at a hostel close to the University, and from there you can reach the city center and many interesting museums.

Too much fun, we explored the city together and went over the weekend up in the Scottish highlands, urgh the midges though were killing me I looked like I had measles afterwards haha.. This was my next big trip after my travel obsession started. It was not my first time in Europe, however it was my first trip I had completely planned myself. The blog contains pictures from different cities in France, Scotland, and England taken during the Holidays. Again, this trip was too long ago for me to make any comments.

Edinburgh was our first stay in a hostel. Our hostel, the Globetrotter, was amazing. It was not what you typically would think of a hostel. It was very clean and very safe. The city in general was very beautiful. My favorite part was climbing to the top of King Arthur's seat. From there we could get the most beautiful view of the city!

My pops has been to scotland roughly ten or more times and was eager to show me and my sibilings the country he fell in love with. We did an independant style of trip moving from hostel to hostel. We were in london for a few days before we took the train up to spend a week in scotland.

We get on the train from King's Cross, which by the way I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. So just being in the train station was exciting for me, and of course I went to platform 9 and 10. I wish I had gottn a photo of me leaning against the column, on one side it says 9 and the other says 1…

Geno's Magical Mystery tour of Northern UK. I started in Aberdeen & hooned through Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, Whitby, Robin Hood Bay, Scarborough, Hull, York, Yorkshire Dales, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Lakes District and of course, made a quick visit to Wales to the town with the 2nd longest name in the World: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
What a beautiful trip it was: terrific scenery, an abundance of history and some very funny accents.

Only got to spend 2 days here but I really loved it and hope to get back very soon. The people here were so great, the Scottish accent is officially my all-time favorite. Is it too much to ask to have met a nice Scottish man to take home with me? I'd have him read to me each evening and we'd spend 6 months a year in the UK and 6 months here in the US. Maybe next time....
