Edina is a wealthy suburb of Minneapolis. It's a great area to drive around and look at all the fancy homes. It's also a great place to drive around and relax. They have many new shopping areas and entertainment venues around town. Centennial Lakes Park provides some great outdoor fun, without a lot of exertion. They also have a newly revamped Southdale Mall, with some great restaurants and shopping stores.

Edina also has great public facilities including the Aquatic center, the Braemar golf course, for full course golfers...the rest of us can golf in miniature at Centennial Lakes. They also have a beautiful Edinborough park.

Seven people. Yes Seven people. Me, Krista, my mom, my sister, her husband and their 8 and 10 year old girls are all going to England. 7 tickets, one mini van & one car booked, two two way radios, endless emails, reservations made and changed and cancelled and made again, and numerous bottles of wine consumed have put this trip together. And all done for the love of our Anglophile mother who is entering into the early stages of Alzheimer's. We are doing everything to make it her best trip ever!

Golfing

Cassi, Becky and I have made it a tradition to go mini golfing to celebrate Becky's birthday. We go to Centennial Lakes Park for our excursion each year. The course is SO cool! It's mini golf, but they call it 'golf in miniature' because it's really more of a putting course with real grass and everything! There are 18 holes and it's a lot of fun!
