We were up early again and off to our last temple, the one at Edfu. While not the most magnificent, this was by far the best in terms of hieroglyphics. The extent of the carvings and hieroglyphics was absolutely amazing. Not quite as bad as at Philae, the hawkers here were also ve…

I wake up
the next morning it is actually a bit chilly - and I think about whether or not
to try to unpack my sleeping back and get down in it. I can't be bothered it
would mean work and it is too early in the morning to do something that takes

We were a bit bummed that Edna was removed from our itenerary. That is sthg we had no idea about, and we found out only the previous evening. Funnily enough, it's not as if any of us really knew what we were missing there, we just knew we weren't going there and it was "one place less" in our trip.…

Cairo, Egypt -› Luxor, Egypt -› …
In April 2005 I visited Egypt with my mom after I graduated. We booked a tour through the country.
We visited the places Cairo, Gizeh, Aswan, Luxor and Hurgadah.
We've seen pyramids, the sfinx, temples, mummies and tombs. We did a Nilecruise and we also got the chance to snorkel and saw dolphins.
