Na een super relaxte dag in Quito op woensdag, was het vandaag tijd voor wat actie. En hoe! We hadden een tour geboekt bij een lokaal reisburo om naar de Cotopaxi vulkaan(5897m) te gaan. En dan omhoog lopen en naar beneden fietsen. Klinkt leuk toch? En dat was het ook. Sometimes we have to return to the city, but we have many desires of remaining in the beach. Maybe is because there, while we are smiling, we want to tucking up ourselves with the sheets waves of the sea. Sleeping a wet dream, replete with life, without thinking to much.

We now get all the hype, visiting the Galapagos Islands was absolutely amazing.  Tom and I treated ourselves to a 4 night luxury yacht cruise around the islands, plus spent 2 more days ourselves on the main island of Santa Cruz.  We got up close and cosy with so many cool animals - sea lions, giant tortoises, iquanas, sea turtles, fur seals, penguins, manta and sting rays, galapagos and reef sharks and trillions of fish and birds, including th…

I have been to otavalo lots of times, because my dad has an office there, but this time I decided to take my camera with me. And I don't know, it seemed so amazing!!!... Everything!!!... We stayed at a cute place called Kokos right on the beach.  We were walking/running distance from the local military installations that are in Salidas.  We were both honored and proud to meet an Ecuadorian Marine and Soldier. As we drove more, we saw the Naval base to and got photos taken with the Ecuadorian Sailors.  Their uniforms are very similar to the United States Navy uniform.  As you can see they are very young too, similar to that our our America…

Equador-is one of the best places to go to. Even after i promised to myself not to go to the same place twice...unless i've been everywhere, i would deffinetly go back there if i had a chance.

Ein bisschen der Sonnenstrahlen die wir wie Frederik ueber Weihnachten am Meer gesammelt haben! Weihnachten 2007 oder auch eineinhalb Wochen am Meer mit Lena, Saskia und Katha in Canoa und Puerto Lopez.

So, hier nun also ein bisschen etwas von dem, was wir in 5 Wochen in Ecuador, Peru und nochmal Ecuador mit der Kamera eingefangen haben! Eindruecke einer nicht immer leichten aber dafuer abenteuerreichen und vorallem schoenen Reise :)
