The Village Road area of Hurghada consists mainly of resort hotels, which are often half/full board and therefore have their own restaurants. This means that there aren't as many outside eateries as you'd think, for somewhere so big (most places are just bars). The Village Road area has some cheap snack bars (selling pizzas etc) and a Hard Rock Cafe (with high prices). Head further down the road and you'll find some fast food outlets; some selling local food and some international outlets like McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut. It's pretty much the same in other areas of Hurghada - Sigala has a combination of local and international snack bars, but the fact that the hotels here are more room-only mean that you are able to find more proper restaurants.
