When i'm starved i'm used to go here to load my refrigerator again, and believe me, this you have to try it!

This is not only a supermarket or a food center.. this is mooore, much much much mooore!!

The biggest food area in the world!

I just copied and pasted some paragraphs from its own site.., and go to have a look at it! if you are a food lover u will thank me!

"....The ambitious new Eataly project is taking life in Turin: a food and wine center where visitors can buy, taste and learn about high-quality food and drink.

The entire surface area is around 11,000 square meters, of which:

• 3,200 sqm of educational areas, the Carpano Museum and the conference room

• 2,450 sqm of sales

• 820 sqm of covered pathway open to the public

• 4,530 sqm of subsidiary areas

• 2,500 sqm of restaurant spots

In the heart of the city, near the Lingotto convention and shopping center, you can find much more than just a food store. The products are closely tied to their own history, culture and true flavor, within the reach of everyone who is interested in deepening their understanding of good, clean and fair food.

Here you can follow taste itineraries or wander through themed educational areas, attend courses in food education or take part in cooking classes held by renowned chefs. The calendar of events is packed with tastings, drinks with producers and various events dedicated to local products, and there’s a specialized library available for consultation. Scattered throughout are mini-restaurants where you can sample delicious dishes or take away prepared foods for later."

A real university of food, for everyone!

Many tourists, specially from france and switzerland come everyday to visit eataly, to buy, learn ..and drink!

U can also buy something and go to ask to a chef how to prepare or what to prepare whit the ingredients u've bought, or simply give them to him and ask him to prepare a recipe for you inside the restaurant spots!

for me is wonderful!

someday i go there with my friends and often we spend half day inside, buying, drinking and chilling tasting food and all the special nibbles all around the spots!

there is ovviously also the best Gelateria of Eataly, special ice creams from all over italy!!

aaaaaahh i wanna go there now! ciao!
