East Kilbride Vacation Guide
East Kilbride is a town on the outskirts of Glasgow. It is on high ground and about 10 miles south east of Glasgow city centre. East Kilbride boasts a huge shopping centre which is one of Scotland's largest indoor shopping mall, it includes an ice rink, cinema and over 250 shops.
The Rotten Calder (otherwise know as the Calderglen) flows along the east side of East Kilbride, northward toward the River Clyde. This is also one of the main attraction to vistors as there are numerous nature trails which border the river, in addition to a forest which is part of the park. The river is quite close to Calderglen Castle, and is used for a wide range of sports related activities and is great for a day out.
East Kilbride grew from a small village of around 900 inhabitants in 1930 to become eventually a large burgh. East Kilbride now has an estimated populations of around 80,000 and is still fast growing!

So, I'm back home in Scotland. (Sorry for the huge gap in entries!)
Had a great time away, and wouldn't have done anything differently. I plan to save up and organise a job BEFORE I travel next time, so that I can stay away!
So here are my final Malta photos :)
