I usually can't be bothered to write reviews for places, but I feel I have to share this place with the whole travellingworld, as I believe it's one of the best guesthouses in the entire world! At least in Cambodia. For me it really was a home away from home.

The only downside is that it's located a bit outside of the city center, but it will only cost 1$ for a tuk-tuk to get to the city, 2-3$ if you are more than one person, depending on what time a day it is.

As far as price goes, it's a bit more expensive than the other places I've stayed at in Cambodia, 5$ a bed in a four bed dormitory with private bathroom, or 12+ for a double depending on you want aircon or not, and people in the room. What is great about the room is that it's the same room, whether you rent it as a single, double, with just fan or aircon. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms are the nicest observed by me in Asia, only the toilets in Phnom Penh's airport came close.

The staff is very friendly and hospitable, they try their best to meet the guests demands, even if it means getting up in the middle of the night to serve drinks (sorry about that). They also have a nice pool for those hot days, which is cleaned every morning, and the food is delicious, everything I tried was just lovely.

The norwegian owners, if there, love talking to guests, and they will have loads of information regarding fun stuff to do. Everyone we met here, including ourselves ended up staying much longer than planned, because every day there were new things we wanted to explore.

They do amazing stuff for the local people to help them and will share these experiences with you. More than just another hotel..... we visited the local orphanage and watched the local kids that Earthwalkers support do their traditional dancing.
