Okay so I finally got all my ducks in a row about when move-in is for the University of Durham. September 26th, 2007 is when it starts. So I decided...better get my ticket before prices go up! So I'm flying out from Minneapolis, and there are no flights that go from Minneapolis to Newcastle (which is the closest airport). Hello my fellow travellers. It seems that my trip has been cut short and my sister and brother and I have come home early. On saturday, we got a call from my mother that my grandmother had passed away unexpectedly. Needless to say there was a rush of emotions, especially since we had almost arrived at the Rez. Yeah, so Minnesota, it snows then it melts then it snows then it melts and is 80 degrees! Then a week later, it snows again. Ahh. So we left after I was done with work, and I had to drop my car off to get fixed, so Emily, Lauren and Sarah met me at the car place and we headed south on 35E toward our first stop for the trip: Ankeny Iowa. We saw some pretty cool stuff on the way down, including the giant truck full of PVC pipes and a really creepy stuffed dog in the back of some Lady's car...whether or not it used to be alive is still up for debate.
