Wild Sanctuary in the middle of the city! Aug 11, 2008
In the middle of Thors forrest is the deerpark, where Sika deer, fallow deer and wild boar lives in a natural habitat that you can come and visit and get up close and personal with the animals.
You are allowed to feed the animals with fresh apples or carrots (except wild boar) but you can not: bring dogs, ride a bike, run, or collect crestnuts and seeds. Twice a year are the animals considered dangerous: from september - november which is mateing times and the males protect their harem, and in the fall where the Sika's pretect their young ones. But the rest of the year is the park a nice sanctuary for both man and deer. |
