Most of the time I travel alone...when i'm bored i stay at the hotel lobby or in a bar trying local beers.

Yesterday, my husband and myself went to Dusseldorf.  Personally, I really like Dusseldorf.  It is a clean, diverse, modern city with a much smaller town feel.  So, it is always a pleasure to visit there.  Miles and miles have I walked and I am certainly feeling my muscles today…

I am not the type to write journals, therefore I do not update this page as often as I should. But I have written and uploaded photos of one of my travels : )

Well, what can i say i flew to Germany on Friday with 80 euros on me and came back with 15. It was a great weekend in Dusseldorf, I went with a friend and we stayed with another friend. It was a fun weekend, we went out for dinner on Fri and sat night as well as drinking to much on the sat. Saturday day time we went to the Museum about the Neanderthal man. It was so informative and i learnt a few things while there. We also went for a few walks. Over all a great weekend out of london.

A lot to see in 5 days.

Dusseldorf markets are a lot smaller than the ones in Cologne, and also consequently less crowded and easier to enjoy. That however, is about where the differences end. My in-laws took the whole family to Europe last May. We started our 2 week adventure in England and ended it in Italy. We visited Scotland, France, Germany and Switzerland in between.
