Dusit Thani Hotel Makati City

Visited Manila for 8 days and my wife and I wanted to stay somewhere that was centrally located and easy for family and friends to meet up with us. The Dusit Thani is perfectly located in Makati, the business district of Manila. The hotel is right on EDSA, Manila's main Avenue and convenient to both the light rail and bus lines. The staff was friendly and courteous, always warmly greeting us when in the lobby. The room was clean if a little dated, but that really didn't matter. The only complaint was that they have no chairs or sofa's in the lobby, so when we had people meet us we had to us the bar area or bring them up to our room. The food here was also pricey but the good thing is that you are right next to the Glorieta Mall so there are plenty of affordable food options within walking distance - try the food court located next door at the SM department store, a full dinner shouldn't cost you more than a few dollars there.
