Durness Vacation Guide
Diuranais (scotish gaelic) is a small remote village in the NorthWest Highlands of Scotland. With 400 people living there it's the biggest village in it's area, which is known for the sparsely populated region in Western Europe.
Durness is known for the 'Smoo Cave', a sea cave and a freshwater cave with a small river flowing there, which turns into a waterfall with rain.
A lot of different geological forms bring tourists and students of geology to the village.
