Durham Vacation Guide
Durham is a small city compared to giants like London and Edinburgh, but has its own lovely charm. The shops are a great for purchasing, or just walking by. Durham also has one of the leading Universities in the world, as well as the third oldest in the United Kingdom. Part of the great atmosphere in this town is the Cathedral, which is a beautiful, but somehow overlooked structure by many passing through the UK. If you are ever in the area be sure to see it!

The nice part about Durham is that it may be a city, but you don't have to go far to find the country. The durham castle is not all that big. If you've been around england then this castle isnt very impressive. However, the environment in which it is set is what makes it unique. Its well kept and extremely picturesque.A good idea for a day outing.
