This had to be without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed at. This hotel has some of the hotel industry's top ratings.First off the location is prime. It is located in a sleepy little fishing village in Rota,Spain. This town has approx 20,000 residents. It's a great place to plan your holidays. Most everyone there can speak some English as there is an American/Spanish Naval base there. This town has 16 kilometers of Europe's most beautiful beaches of which the Hotel Duque de Najera is situated on.This hotel has every amenity possible. The best part for me was the ocean views from the room's balcony. They have 2 restaurants.La Bodega and El Embarcadero. Both of which serve the freshest seafood straight from the ocean in front of it.They have 2 bars and one is located next to the pool that serves cocktails and tapas. The other one inside serves coffee and pastries. The Hotel Duque de Nájera offers a complete range of sporting facilities as well as the perfect setting for a bike ride or a golfing excursion to the Costa Ballena, and of course, a complete range of water sports. The rooms are very spacious and offer the best for sleeping as if you were at home. They have 92 luxury rooms, 78 doubles, 6 superior doubles, and 7 junior suites, most with terrace or balcony and all equipped with luxurious baths. We stayed in junior suite. So choosing a room shouldn't be hard. They have rooms to fit everyone's lifestyle or budget. The breakfast there is the best. It's a buffet style breakfast without being stingy. It serves up just about anything you can imagine a breakfast would have. From fresh fruit to fresh crepes. The staff here is very helpful also.Everything you need to see in that town is all close buy and in walking distance from the Hotel. But the best part is that it's right on the beach.
