There's not much left of this 14th-century fortification but it has a dramatic position on the coastline and if you like photography I'm sure you'd enjoy trying to get a good shot of it. It was built by Earl Thomas of Lancaster between 1313 and 1322 and made use of its natural coastal location for defence. Lots of information about the castle's history can be found on the below website.
