Dunkeld Overview

Dunkeld is a small town in Perthshire, Scotland. The town was largely rebuilt in the early 18th century and, architecturally, has changed little since then.

Attractions include a ruined cathedral with a church on the grounds, and walks along the Tay. Dunkeld is close to The Hermitage, a walk by some waterfalls on the former estate of the Dukes of Atholl, where it is possible to see salmon leaping upstream and the rare red squirrel.
