Dunk Island is about 5km from Mission Beach and Wongaling, and just takes 15 minutes by Wongaling Water Taxi. This infernal contraption doesn't come with a jetty, and so to get onto it I had to wade out into very choppy waves, causing my shorts to get soaked. Fortunately the water didn't reach my pockets.
