Duke's Aug 30, 2012
Duke's is my favorite restaurant to eat at in Waikiki. If you're looking for great food, a great view, and an overall great experience, you've found your place! It is located in the Outrigger Waikiki hotel (right next to the big Moana Surfrider).

Make a reservation otherwise you may wait a couple hours for a table. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it. If you want to spend a little bit less you can always order from the bar area. At the restaurant, your meal comes with a salad bar, which is decent. I always order one of the fresh fish of the day and it's always amazing!

The atmosphere at Duke's is great. There's lots of people, you have a beautiful view of the ocean, and there is a group of ladies that go around the tables singing Hawaiian music.

Definitely worth checking out!

Duke's on Sunday Mar 28, 2012
You have to make a trip to Duke's at least once while you are in Waikiki. Most of the people I know that have visited absolutely love it. If you are going to eat there, make sure to make reservations, but if you decide to go without you can fight your way to a seat in the bar area (first come first serve) or put your name on the list at the back patio. Its much faster than waiting up front for a table inside.

I've been living here about a year now and I spend my Sunday Fundays at Duke's.

The atmosphere is great! Typical laid back vibe! Any day of the week is great to go here, but Sundays are by far the most fun! My friends and I usually go on the booze cruise (Na Hoku II) around 3pm which leaves right out side of Duke's on the beach and then once we get off head back to Duke's for a live band and dancing.

Its something everyone should do...Jimmy Buffet even wrote a song about it...that should say something :)

Best atmosphere, food and music on the beach. Jun 05, 2011
This is the best restaurant to go to when you come to Waikiki. It is right on the beach with waves, fire and live music. All of the food is pretty good. I recommend the Poke rolls. They also have crab stuffed wontons and fish tacos. Saturdays and Sundays before sunset 5-7pm has a stage with live music and a dance party. Later in the evening is just a one person live music act.
