Take it from a local! Duke's Canoe Club in Waikiki is the best restaurant on the island! They are known by tourists and locals alike for their award-winning dishes and their always popular Barefoot Bar. If you're looking for a good time without the dress code and fear of being roofied, the Barefoot Bar is the place to be! Careful with those Duke’s Mai Tai's! They'll get ya like they got me... line dancing to rap music at a club not even close to country.

The breakfast and lunch buffet is great but the dinner menu is really what brings the crowd. On that note, make reservations! Duke's is crowded, especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when the restaurant offers live music by popular local artists. If you find yourself undecided over what to order from the dinner menu, I recommend the fish. It's always a winner no matter how it’s prepared! The food takes a little while to arrive so relax and enjoy your surroundings! When there's no live music playing in the background, the sound of waves gently crashing on the shore is what you'll hear. Coupled with the ambient glow of torch light, I can think of nothing more romantic and peaceful.

Go experience the Spirit of Aloha at Duke's! I promise you will not regret it!
