I've got my iPod fully charged, my books in my carry-on bag and I'm ready to go... 1st leg: Dublin - London...

Ireland's the 20th largest island in the world - did you know that? Me neither, and I'm not sure that's meaningful. However, Ireland remains an evolving enigma, albeit for differing reasons. The country continues to evolve from provincial to a world stop. What's constant; the weather of course - typically rainy and grey, with spurts of sunshine, and hopefully soft climes. What's changing; the people and the economy - dramatically. These are shots from the Connaught to present Dublin.

Not a very original topic, but I've been noticing a recurring theme in many of my blogs and photos where Beer is playing a prominent part, so I will try to show some of the many brews I have tried throughout my travels, and when I can, will try to give reviews of them as well...

So I just recently got back from a three week intensive visit to Ireland/Northern Ireland where I was studying for school credit. I got some studying done, lots of sightseeing, and even more drinking with the locals and my new friends! Enjoy!

No words to describe the following senstation:
I was just arriving in the city walking alone O'Connell's Street looking for a nice place to have a break and eat something. I noticed there were so many people wearing two kinds of uniforms, and they used to hug each other but I couldn't understand what was going on. The attendand explained me they we from 2 different football teams and they making fun of each other. Then I asked myself: is that possible?
Ok, it happens only in Dublin!!
